A Voice From District 7 For District 7

I am a proud product of District 7. Growing up my parents taught me the value of hard work by example. Working blue-collar jobs to provide for our family, my parents instilled in me the importance of taking pride in one’s work and the value of gaining an education.

Through hard work and perseverance, I learned that I could achieve anything I put my mind to.

I apply those lessons everyday as your voice at City Hall.

who I am

Building a healthier, safer San Antonio for all.

As your District 7 Councilwoman, I’ve worked hard each day to keep my word and deliver on the promises I made to our community.

Among these include making sure neighborhoods have a voice in shaping our growth, securing more funding for streets, sidewalks, and drainage, and making sure residents have the opportunity to prosper as our city grows.

Since taking office, I’ve delivered on these promises.

The City has adopted principles for how we engage the public on important issues. My office also requires that developers must meet with neighborhoods when seeking a zoning change.

The City has increased funding for streets, sidewalks, and drainage by 50% in the four years I’ve been on Council.

The City has invested in new programs that protect public health, strengthen our public transit system, and ensure we have a trained workforce that is prepared for the jobs of the future.
